Ein Scrapbook Werkstatt Event!!!

Welcome in the last day of this amazing 2o12 year!!! I have some infos for my scrap friends lives in Germany!!! It’s all about our ILS – Scrapbook Werkstatt in February.

I don’t make any summary this time… It was a very good year, but I already know that the next one will be better! So be prepared for some splendid events, remarkable pages and outstanding albums ahahahah 🙂

Studio Calico :: Sunday

It’s that time again – the sweet Sunday post with my Studio Calico Block Party kits layouts. It’s not a secret anymore that I love the January kit, truly adore 🙂

This is one of my favourites layouts this month and it calls: ‚Maybe I will build my house on your cloud’. I made it as my third project. I love it so much because I used here my favourite cold colours – blue, cyan and green. I adore this mix. I mixed the main kit with the products coming from Pollard Avenue (Add-on 1) and Woodbrook Road (Add-on 4).

I used some Mister Huey’s mists and Circle Graph mask – this is one of my favourites. I also used a ‚triangle’ stamp and blue chalk ink to make a patterned stripe below the picture. I make some pencils doodles and next I staggered some circles, splashes, little stars, enamel dots and brads away from the photo. In the right corner you can find on of the wood veneers bubble – I really adore them!

This is my last project create with Block Party kit. Once again I use a colour scheme with yellow and blue, but this time the shade of blue is almost navy and it’s coming from the picture.

These are the photos of my dear son who is an early bird… I don’t like it much I like to sleep till 9/10am, but when he comes under my quilt and smile from ear to ear I have no choice – I also smile 🙂  I made here some vellum sunbursts – the motive that I like a lot last months. I tried to stay in a ractangle composition in the centre of the base. Even if this layout is static it’s not boring because of those „messy” elements like: tangled threads, pencil doodlings and some black ink splashes. I always remember about stamping dates – my favourite for that lately is Studio Calico roller date stamp! Oh, and I have to add that I am totally in love in these tiny red alphabet stickers!!! They are absolutely fab!

Studio Calico :: Saturday

Hello! This is a first Saturday after Studio Calico Reveal and I still have a lot of layouts made with Block Party kits to show you! So let’s start 🙂

This is my son Jan. He is my greatest inspiration, the apple of my eye 🙂  I found this photo which I made in the begining of 2o12 and I decided to finally scrap it! I found some lovely embellishements in the January’s kits. I mixed here the main kit with different add-ons. This time I also create a pattern using the circle stamp from Westbrook Road add-on and red chalk ink.  I’m a little ‚eco-freek’ so I also recycling a piece of chipboard’s package as a backgroud of the layers.  I decided to stick with red and blue as the main colours of this page. I used some lovely printables – beacuse I loooooove printables so much!

And here is the second layout I have for you today – it calls „We’re going places” 🙂

I really like this picture so my idea was stay in rather clean & simple convention. I am not very c&s girl so it’s always hard for me to make such decision.  I wanted to used this printable speech bubbles – I think it’s really well designed!  I played with some gesso and watercolours – as always on my projects. The colour palette has been a favourite of mine this month. I think that light shade of blue and bold yellow fit perfectly together. I can’t get enough!  I love doodling on my pages lately so I add some multiple circles on this one too.

Studio Calico :: January Reveal

I adore Studio Calico kits till I found saw them for the first time. I grabbed the Block Party Main Kit and two Add-Ons (1 Pollard Avenue and 4 Wooodbrook Road).

Kits are available for purchase and there’s also some new shop items this month too. Block Party has also a set of printables, they really help fill up the kits. I managed to create eight layouts this month and if time allowed I would have kept on going!

This one is my Main Only layout for January:

When I saw this special Studio Calico circles vellum for the first time, I knew that I will use this picture! I made it a few weeks ago in Paris. It was directly in front of Centre Pompidou. I love when the motive or colours from the picture coming to my layout!

I added my favourite printables and little mixed-media actions. I used two colours of watercolours – which I adore!
I tried to add as much green colours as it possible 🙂 I found some proper shade od green in the Main kit – the same shade as I have on my photo.

It was my first ‚Main Kit’ work and I was stressed out, but I truly like this layout 🙂

This is the Pollard Avenue (no.1) Only; I add the chipboard ABC to dreate the topic (from the Main Kit), the rest is coming from this Add-On:

I wanted to stick to neutrals for this one so I used a lot of beige, cream and pale blue. The only intensified details here are a piece of ocher chevron paper (you know this colour, don’t you… this is a dirty shade of yellow…), and the badge with adorable cow 🙂
I decided to use here this beautiful pale wooden paper as a background because the children on the photo swam in the exact same shade wooden tub!!! They had a lot of foam and they looked as bathed in milk.

I made here a lot of layers, I used almost every paper from this add-on. The maily shape theme here is a start – I added a lot of stars! I also stamped three sweet tiny duckies – do you see them?! 🙂 Who will find them?

Gold glitter was my perfect finish here. I think it fit splendidly.

December Daily :: 10th :: 23rd

I know, this is the second day of Xmas, but yesterevening was so calm and quiet and I started to fill the next pages of my December Daily album. I was very busy, time wasn’t on my side this month so I don’t have a photo for every December day. But I tried to compose these pages with those that I have.  You have to forgive me – but it’s all about my work with Studio Calico January Block Party kit – the REVEAL night is almost here, so stay turned!

You will find here a lot of ChicTags ATC cards, labels and tags. My favourite last days are these amazing wood veneer speech bubbles and arrows from Freckled Fawn!

Ok, so that’s it! I have two more pages for Christmas Eve and for envelope with photos form two days of Christmas. I hope I will show you them before this year will end – keep your fingers crossed for me to be mobilized! 🙂

sneaky Christmas

Yeah! That’s how I start this post 🙂 God… my last weeks are so AMAZING!!! I have a lot of awesome news to announce you this week! Today it’s Monday so for a good begining I would like to invite you for my first classes in PARIS! 🙂

So this is the end of my exciting news for today, but I have something different – a new layout. I can finally show you my creation prepared for Freckled Fawn colour challenge. The palette was hard for me because I really don’t like this shade of orange, but in the other hand – it was an interesting challenge for me.

I took this photo a few weeks ago when we were in Paris. I choose this one because I found it perfect for this Frecled Fawn palette. I add a lot of white (I used white paper from ILS POPs OF as a base) and some minimal mixed-media actions. I embellishemed it using Chic Tags labels and little tags, Dear Lizzy ‚5th & Frolic’ stamps and alphabet stickers and Freckled Fawn arrows-patterned washi.

Ok, I don’t know where to start… OMG! OMG!!! If you know me you MUST know how happy I am! I’m so excited to be able to make this announcement to all of you. I join to the Studio Calico Scrapbook kit Creative Team!!!

I am so honored and nervous to be in this amazing team of extremly talented ladies. It’s like my dreams come true! Still pinching myself :))) I have so much to show you! The first kits I received are full of inspiration! I can’t resist myself  to show you my January Studio Calico layouts – nope, I won’t do that now 🙂 I can’t, sorry. But I can show you some sneak peeks today:

December Daily :: 1st :: 9th

Hi my sweet readers… I have so much to tell and… I can’t make it now! Not yet…  All I can write is that I have a lot of amazing and interesting work. So I’m still in progress. Can’t show you nothing and it’s not ok – I know, but believe me – soon I will publish my last weeks layouts.
It’s December and I decided to make a December Daily album this year. Last year it was much easier. I used a lot of gold glitter, and… gold, and more gold and glitter 🙂 This year I would love to prepare something clean& simple in traditional ‚christmas palette’: red & white. I find this mix attractive this year 🙂 Yesterday I start to complete the first pages. From these origins only colours survive. I CAN’T make any clear&simple pages – sorry 🙂 So let’s start, these are the first days of December – I know they’re not very stylish, but this is all I can create now. This year I prefer treming the tree, bake the cookies, walk on frosy walks – you know, I have a real christmas spirit inside.

I used one of ChicTags Frosty ATC 🙂 In a  pocket I hid a letter from Jaś to Santa: ‚Please wake me up Santa!”, it was so sweet! 🙂

And this is one of the 25 Days Icons! I sticked it to the vellum envelope where I hid an instax photo and cinema tickets.

I know you adore this ‚Santa’ ATC as much as I do – probably 🙂 It comes from 25 Days ATC’s set. And this lovely arrow is also from ChicTags and you can find a whole set of arrows here.

I use a baby blue TAB from ChicTags 25 Day Tabs set.

This is a special ‚envelope’ page. I made it inspire by the song ‚Let’s have a kiki’ – if you don’t know it yet, you have to find it somewhere on You Tube (I prefer the ‚Glee’ version with Sarah Jessica Parker). Inside the envlope I put Jan’s letter to Santa and his drawing.

These are ‚this year special’ christmas decorations which I bought in Paris, and I love them :)))

I know it was a lot of pictures – but these are my nine days of December and I am proud that I found any mobilization inside to finally make it. Ok, I’m going to bake some gingerbreads now. Have a nice evening everybody 🙂
