triangle challenge

Welcome in the begining of the new week! I just start my four-days vacation with friends  in my country house, so I probably won’t have an internet 🙂 Well… I think I find some outside the wood when I would like to past some pictures on my Facebook page 🙂 I can’t leave you for so long!!! But you have to understand that I need to celebrate every last bit of the last week of summer vacation…

Ahahhahaahha, ok I know, nobody will cry 🙂

I have something special for you today. We have a new ‚designer challenge’ on Lily Bee blog. It’s a Melissa Stinson’s choice. The TRIANGLES challenge – so you simply have to use some triangles and be inspired by them in your works.
This is my ‚triangle’ layout made with Lily Bee products:

I used Lily Bee lines (Double Dutch and Buttercup) and my favourite Freckled Fawn washi tape 🙂

I also cut a series of triangles out of a small piece of patterned paper and backed a few of those openings with contrasting colors. Yet another great way to incorporate this trendy shape 🙂

yeees!!! I forgot about SODAlicious wood veneer chevrons and chevron stamp.

Summer Dreamer :: first step

Hi! Today in Poland we have a day-off so I have a little more time for myself. I would like to present you my first efforts with my latest Summer Dreamer collection designed for I {lowe} SCRAP. I really looove these papers! (yeah, I’m not very modest…)

But…

I really don’t like these first layouts made with my favourite collection. Well I think I just have to ‚feel’ it… I will show you these two layouts, but I made much more in last days. They will be publish in the coming weeks, so you have to wait a little bit.

Hi!!! No today I won’t show you any Prima works 🙂 No Prima for a week or more, promise! I would like to back to my roots. I will show you my favourite I {lowe} SCRAP page! I create it specially for the ILS vacation colour challenge. I choose the first palette for my layout: the navy-white-wood one. It was a first time when I used a Tis The Season paper for the base 🙂

boyish ‚Craftsman’ layout

As I promised – today I present you the second ‚Craftsman’ collection layout. This time it will be simple, boyish page. The truth is that when I received the Prima package, and saw this line I had no idea how to use it… It such situations my but is always rescued by an exellent work by someone else. This time was quite similar. I used a wonderful ‚star’ page made by Marcy Penner – the master of simple composition, and I made my own version. It was my firsdt ‚Craftsman’ page so I had to be careful with patterns.

I use a beige cardstock as a base; all other papers are coming from ‚Craftsman’ collection by Prima Marketing

the stars are hand-cut (!!!!) yeah! 🙂

And now I have an announcement for you. You loooove Chic Tags, don’t you?! 🙂 I a news for you, Chic Tags has 20 new iteams for Autumn & Christmas!!! If you are curious how they look like just click HERE. I adore them! These are a few novelties:

feminine side of the ‚Craftsman’

You already know this awesome collection as the best for your men – it’s true, the papers are made for them but I would like to show you the feminine side of this collection.

Just to remind you, here is the poster of the ‚Craftsman’ goodies:

What do you like the most? Well my favorites are the bulbs and the beautiful stamps! They are so purposeful and they fit everything 🙂 The paper palette is really cool, I looove the navy shades on it… also the browns looks good. Now it’s time for girlish layout. Say what you want but I think that the ‚Craftsman’ collection is simply designed for feminine pages! Look!

I added the resist flower canvas, some stamped leaves and the spots of gold glitter…

Here and there I used a little gesso and washi tapes form Freckled Fawn as well as  watercolour paint! They give the layout an artsy touch 🙂

Ok, so add the girlish things like: flowers, delicate stamps and a piece of vellum… also you will have to use a very girly photo for the best results 🙂 Tomorrow I will show you the second ‚Craftsman’ page – this time it will be boyish edition!

reminiscences

I still haven’t shown you my all Prima Mrkating CHA layouts… I think there will be more than one post with these works in the coming days. Today I would like to present you one of the most romantic lines of all in this Prima’s season. ‚Tea-Thyme’ Collection is full of roses and pale garden’s colours:

I used the greenish papers and some roseish for my ‚Tea-Thyme’ layout with these sweet childrens: My son Jan and our lovely princess Lea:

I used a lot of different mediums here: the gesso, enamel effects, chalk inks, pencil, mists…

I loooove thesse tiny little crystals which look like scattered randomly here…

…and a pretty lady-bug charm 🙂

I know… my creations are very pale so it’s not very comfortable to look at them But maybe you will see here all of these different shades of grey, pink and cyan with a pop of gold…

I used a lot of watercolour paint and four kinds of Freckled Fawn washi tapes!!!

also used American Crafts alphabet stickers, Basic Gray alphabet and Lily Bee 🙂

from SODAlicious I used: ractagle stencil, three diferent kinds of stamps, and art-journal.

workshops in Barcelona!!!

Hello!!! This day is a RED day, because I finally can announce you, that this autumn I will be teaching workshops in Barcelona!!!

Together with Nulka (Anna Wach),  Jaszmurka (Martyna Slowikowska) and the organizator of this huge event: Mireia from Kits de Somni, we will be teaching two days full of different classes!!! The event will take place in the first October weekend: 6-7.

There will be a lot of mixed-media classes, layouts classes, mini-album and art-journal classes. We will spend the whole two days together in beautiful place in the center of this amazing city, in B,14 –  el primer club de arte contemporaneo de BCN!!!

We also have a great sponsores that are: I {lowe} SCRAP, SODAlicious, American Crafts and Studio Calico!!! So you have to be sure that we will be working on the great products from these companies.

You have no idea how excited I am about this event. I will be teaching new people in the city which is one of my favourites ever with one of my favourites scrap firends! It will be a great adventure for everybody! So I really can’t wait! I know that we will have a lot of  fun together.
Remember: October 6th-7th, Barcelona, B,14 centre, ILS, SODAlicious, American Crafts and Studio Calico… 5(!!!) different classes + special make & take, amazing kits, new mixed-media techniques, new trends in scrapbooking, trendy colours, giveaways and amazing food in B,14 special menu (and Sangria – of course 🙂 – I hope so, because I loooove Sangria!).
